Job Description Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze legal documents, including complaints, summons, and motions, for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify and ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements and court rules for civil and criminal cases.
- Process and prepare court documents, including drafting and editing pleadings, motions, and other filings.
- Conduct thorough document review to identify and flag potential errors or discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain electronic document management systems for organizing and storing case files.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in document formatting, citations, and references.
- Perform quality control checks on documents prepared by other team members.
- Research and apply relevant jurisdictional laws, rules, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with attorneys and other stakeholders to gather information and clarify document requirements.
- Track and manage document deadlines and filing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of document processing and filing.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or concerns related to document preparation or filing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in document preparation.
- Review and update existing document templates and precedents to ensure compliance with changing laws and regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies when handling sensitive case information.
